I had 2 private tennis lessons with Susan Evans and 1 group session during my stay at PortoBay Falesia. I honestly learnt more with her in my first lesson then I have in 10 months elsewhere. She is exceptionally patient and just had a way of explaining things so brilliantly that everything fell into place and I feel that she's greatly improved my tennis. I'm actually considering going to Portugal again soon just for a lesson with her! Thank you, Susan - you were incredible!

Fantastic tennis coach! Whilst staying at the Porto Bay Falésia this year, I joined a few group tennis sessions with other hotel guests, and then booked two individual coaching sessions with Susan, and I'm so glad I did! Susan is a fantastic coach and really good at breaking things down into easy steps that actually make sense. I learned so much in a short space of time, and it was a lot of fun as well. I left with both a new forehand and backhand technique and I'm now way more confident on the court. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to fine-tune your game, I would definitely recommend Susan to anyone staying at the Porto Bay Falésia or the Porto Bay Blue Ocean, who wants to improve their game whilst on holiday.

I engaged Susan twice in my 5 day trip and it was an absolute blast and one of the highlights of my trip. Great hitting lesson! Susan is a terrific pro. If you are an intermediate to advanced player and looking for someone to hit with and also receive good tips, then Susan is your pro. Hitting with Susan was perfect to keep the rust off my game while on holiday for a couple of weeks. She is a great player and instructor. Susan provides good drills that demand consistency and skill.

Susan is a superb tennis instructor and her enthusiasm for the game is infectious. I’m a 70 year old intermediate to advanced player and learned a lot in an hour to improve groundstrokes and volleys. In Grateful Appreciation! My wife and I are newly retired and took the opportunity to sign up for a week of tennis lessons with Susan. We both were insecure about taking lessons since we had not picked up a racquet in 20 years. Luckily, we found Susan who is an outstanding tennis coach.
